Clogging Indicators

Clogging Indicators

Technical document

Clogging indictors are warning devices that signal that the filter element is filled with contaminants and should be changed or cleaned. These devices activate when the flow of fluid causes a pressure drop across the filter that exceeds the indicator setting. The indicator is generally set to trip well before the filter element becomes fully clogged, thereby giving the operator sufficient time to take corrective action. Various kinds of switches are available, offering differing electrical ratings, contact configurations and connections. Models are, anyway, always customized strictly according to the specific application requirements of every single customer.
